Purpose of the job
Carry out the maintenance and repair for the refrigeration units according to the work schedule and the procedures and work instructions, to keep the refrigeration units operational and up to maintenance standards. SADAFCO has 3 different cooling installations: depot cooling, cooling systems for the delivery vans/trucks and chillers and freezers for stores and markets. Depending on your knowledge and experience you will maintain and install one of the 3 types.
Key Accountabilities
1.Daily inspection
Daily inspect the cooling units (vans/ trucks, chillers, freezers and cold stores) for proper functioning and temperature, to prevent the units from breakdown and to ensure the correct temperatures, and return the records to the Workshop Supervisor.
2. Repair
Carry out the repairs in cases of breakdown or after inspection in line with checklists and work instructions, in order to keep the cooling units operational.
3. Planned maintenance
Carry out the planned inspections and maintenance services for the cooling units according to the work scheduling and service sheets.
4. Reporting
Fill up the job cards and maintenance reports about work done and return to Supervisor.
المهارات
Job Requirements
• Educational level: Completed primary school(degree required)
• Experience: minimum 2 years relevant experience; experienced must have been gained with refrigeration systems
• Languages: fluent in Arabic and English, both in speech and in writing
• For cold stores: experience with Copeland and Bitzer compressors is required
• Experience with calibration of panel boards and controls
• Other requirements: physically fit
