HR Advisor - Manufacturing

Job Description

This role is strictly for Saudi nationals. Non Saudi candidates will not be considered!

In this role you will support and advise the management of our manufacturing plants on all HRM and employees related manners. You will be the ‘first point of contact’ and set up plans and co-ordinate with specialized Organizational & Development departments like; Training & Development, Recruitment, Employee Services, Compensation & Benefits etc. You will be managing the HR processes and finding solutions for HR issues, both on organizational as individual level. Your reporting line is functionally towards the Director Manufacturing and hierarchical to the Director Organization & Development

Our 3 manufacturing facilities are located in Jeddah (2) and Dammam (1) and require regular traveling. SADAFCO employs around 800 working in shifts in Manufacturing.

Key Accountabilities

1. Compensation & Benefits; Support management by informing and advising with regard to Compensation & Benefits, in cooperation with the C&B department when required.

2. Training & Development; Support management in assessing training needs and with aligning with Training & Development for providing training and development solutions.

3. Performance management; Assist management in the execution of the processes for target setting, appraisal and salary review, to ensure quality and timely completion.

4. Recruitment; Support management with recruitment for the 3 plants, by coordinating the process, assessing recruitment needs, ensuring updated job descriptions and initiating the recruitment process, to be executed by the recruitment department and employee services.

5. Organization and job descriptions; Initiate and support management in the periodical updating of the organization charts of the functional area and draft job descriptions when required, in cooperation with C&B, to ensure up-to-date availability of organization charts en job descriptions.

6. Implementation of HRM programs; Coordinate and support the implementation of HR policies and programs in the functional area.

7. Staff retention; Advise in general and for individual issues with regard to staff retention.

8. HRM information and communication; Execute the required HR communication and provide information to management, according to guidelines and instructions, about HR policies, processes and procedures.

Skills

Job Requirements

• Educational level: University, master degree

• Specific diploma/education: HRM, Business Administration

• Minimal experience: 4 years in HR generalist jobs, preferably in a manufacturing environment

• Experienced in working with different cultural and educational groups and the specific challenges this brings

• Good understanding of the labor laws in Saudi Arabia

• Languages: English & Arabic written and spoken is a must.
