Job Description

In this role you will actively manage operations, develop policies, programs and procedures for recruitment, both for blue collar and graduate and experienced recruitment. You will align your operations with the business goals and needs, while maintaining HR policies and the manpower planning. In co-operation with employer branding you will build on the SADAFCO brand name to support recruitment activities.

Key Accountabilities

1. Manage the Recruitment Team

Ensure that the Recruitment Team (3 Recruitment Officers, 1 Back Office Administrator) provides the most cost effective recruitment services. The Recruitment Officers still focus on the ‘blue collar’ roles (up top job-grade 15), however, the shift has to be made that these positions are recruited locally by the Business Managers/ Managers Manufacturing and Employee Services Officers. The Recruitment Team provides support to these people. The Recruitment Team should focus on external exposure, be SADAFCO’s ambassador, focus on sourcing candidates, attend career fairs and focus on vacancies grade 15 and above.

2. Policies and procedures

Develop and maintain the policies and procedures for recruitment & selection and for labor market communication (aligned with corporate communication) for all SADAFCO and ensure implementation after approval of the Director OD.

3. Recruitment & selection

Organize and manage the processes for recruitment and selection, including mass recruitment on request, in line with the annual recruitment plan, job descriptions, and specifications by line management, in order to provide suitable candidates for the jobs in grade 12 and higher to Directors and the direct reports of the Directors.

4. Active search

Ensure active search for suitable candidates by the recruitment unit, using relevant new media, social networks and CV databases, to detect suitable candidates.

5. Open applications

Ensure all open applications are reviewed, processed and answered and CV’s are filed in the CV database.

6. Employer branding and advertising

Develop, implement and execute policies and programs for effective employer branding, recruiting campaigns and specific job advertising, - in close cooperation with Corporate Communications - in order to attract qualified candidates and to create a positive image of SADAFCO in the relevant labor markets.

7. Recruitment agencies

Select, contract and manage recruitment agencies for delivering candidates when required, in alignment with the Director OD. SADAFCO is in the process of changing and professionalizing its recruitment strategies with the goal to reduce the dependency on agencies.

8. Employment offerings

Agree with C&B on reward packages and conditions for employment offerings and present to and negotiate with candidates, on behalf of line management.

9. Induction

Develop the on-boarding policies and procedures and the induction program for new hires, and ensure execution in cooperation with the Training & Development unit.

10. Employment contracts

Ensure new employees are evaluated before the end of probation time and that the employment contract is drafted by C&B and, after approval of line management, is sent to new employees.

11. Administration & reporting

Develop and maintain a recruitment administration, including a CV database to enable tracking and tracing candidates, for management reporting on statistics and recruitment progress.

Skills

The right candidate understands what "data driven recruitment" means and is an innovator with excellent networking skills. You combine this with a proven track record in managing and building effective recruitment teams.

Job Requirements

• Educational level: minimum university degree (Bachelor or Master)

• Specific diploma/education: Marketing, Economics, Finance, Hospitality Management

• Minimal experience: 5-10 years in recruitment, marketing or sales background is preferred

• Proven track record in implementing and executing new recruitment strategies as well as hands-on high level recruitment.

• Proven track record in changing and managing small teams directly and managing large teams indirectly

• Experience and knowledge of data driven recruitment

• Project Management experience

• Languages: English is a must, Arabic a pre
