Job Description
Manage, plan and organize the capacity, maintenance and availability of company’s fleet, in line with the distribution demands and presentation norms, in order to provide all transportation means for primary and secondary distribution for all company
Key Accountabilities
1. Policies & procedures
Develop, implement and evaluate the fleet management policies, procedures and standards, in order to ensure quality and consistency in fleet management for all company.
2. Fleet planning
Plan and organize the required fleet capacity for the distribution, by buying, replacing (in cooperation with procurement) and scheduling vans, trucks and forklifts for the Regions, based on demand forecasting, to ensure the required capacity of the fleet.
3. Technical services
Set the standards and coordinate the technical services of the Workshops to ensure the delivery of fleet maintenance and repair for all Company.
4. Workshop facilities & equipment
Plan and coordinate the maintenance and renewal of the workshop facilities & equipment for all Regions, to enable the workshop work to be carried out.
5. Fleet cost control
Ensure recording of fleet performance indicators and analyze the performance data to decide on action for improvements and control the cost of the fleet.
6. Administration and reporting
Ensure the availability of administration systems for fleet planning and maintenance, and ensure recording, to provide tools for scheduling and accurate reporting on fleet capacity and performance.
7. HR Management
Ensure, in co-operation with S&D Regional Management, effective Regional workshops with the required number and quality of people, and effective people management in line with company’s HR policies, in order to enable realization of the departmental goals.
8. Finance & budgeting
Ensure budgeting and financial monitoring and reporting according to company’s financial policies in order to ensure proper financial management for fleet management.
Skills
• Educational level: University/ bachelor
• Specific diploma/education: mechanical or electrical engineering
• Minimal experience: 3 years in similar job/ 12 years in engineering
• Languages: English, Arabic
