Job Description
Responsible for all manufacturing function at our Jeddah Milk factory site, including full cost and performance responsibility and the makeup of Production, Warehousing, Quality and Site Administration, in order to succeed the plan and get the desired result. The factory is currently being modernized and automated. Although this will be finalized at the end of 2015 continuous improvement and automation is to be part of day to day operations.
Key Accountabilities
1. Manufacturing Insight
Monitor and manage day-to-day activities of the factory in accordance to the practices and procedures of Production, Technical, Warehousing, Quality and Distribution, in order to meet the sales forecast requirements and plan effectively
2. People Management
Conduct employee performance reviews & coordinate with Human Resources for appropriate staffing levels to be able to set guidelines and formats for production staff to operate and in order to have the reviews of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s). Total permanent staff 276 working shifts of about 60. The factory is operational 24/7
3. Health & Safety
Ensure a clean and safe work area and potential risks are communicated for corrective action in order to follow the company’s health & safety policy.
4. Quality Management (ISO2000)
Direct and manage the quality control as per the company’s & ISO 2000 standards, in order to make adjustments as necessary & reject items outside of specifications
5. Financial Management
Set and participate in drafting operating budget of manufacturing in order to make adjustments to be within set budget.
6. Manufacturing Strategy
Develop the manufacturing strategy in conjunction with Director Manufacturing & Department’s Managers, on an ongoing basis, in order to achieve minimum wastage targets, quality failure rates, and ongoing development.
7. Maintenance
Review the maintenance of the factory equipments based on the agreed policies and procedures, in order to achieve a high percentage of overall equipment efficiency (OEE).

• Educational level: Master Degree in Food Science & Dairy Technology
• Specific diploma/education: none
• Minimal experience: 10+ Years in a leading food or beverage manufacturing position.
• Languages: English is a must, Arabic is an option
