Job Description

As a Training & Development Officer at SADAFCO you are responsible for developing, organizing and coordinating training & development programs. Your main goal is to develop your managers and employees to a higher professional level. Of course you will do this in line with the T&D and HR policies and training requirements. Reporting to our Manager Training & Development you will work closely with both senior & line management and employees. The vacancy we have at the moment is for our Sales & Distribution organization.

Key Accountabilities

1. Training needs analysis; analyze the training needs at individual and overall level and formulate training briefs, in order to support management in follow-up for individuals and to initiate the development of training programs.

2. Training & service providers; coordinate the design and delivery of training and ensure customizing to Sadafco’s needs, for programs which are outsourced to training & service providers, and communicate progress and specific issues internally.

3. Training design; Design specific training programs, which are not outsourced to training providers, in cooperation with the Manager T&D.

4. Training organization; organize the operations for training programs, including participant information, production of training materials, registration and administration, location and catering, and evaluation.

5. Training; perform as trainer in selected training programs, which are not outsourced.

6. Training information and brokerage; support management and employees by providing information about internal and external training programs for Sadafco employees, and assist in selecting the appropriate training programs for individual’s needs.

7. Employee development; design, implement and provide tools and programs for effective employee development, to support management in their requirements for employee development.

8. Administration & reporting; entry updates in a training administration, and ensure linkage to personnel files, for management reporting on statistics and training progress.

Job Requirements

• Educational level: University, Bachelor degree

• Specific diploma/education: HRM, didactics, organizational psychology

• Minimal 4 years in a FMCG training and development role

• Languages: English + Arabic are a must!

Skills

As a person you are highly analytical and flexible. Your communication skills are extremely well developed and you can communicate effectively on all levels of an organization: From blue collar workers to senior managers. You understand what selling in the FMCG world means and are able to translate this to workable training strategies and tactics. On top of that you have a proven track record in giving Sales Trainings yourself!
