Purpose of the job:
Plans, coordinates, and directs quality control program designed to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards
Key Accountabilities:
Quality Control
Monitor Quality Control Programs by using quality control techniques tools in order to maintain the company’s quality standards.
Internal Audits
Conduct internal audits to ensure procedures are in compliance with SHEQ system in order to ensure all quality compliance activities are cost effective and within budget.
Laboratory
Help the laboratory technicians to be available as per the scheduled plan to be able to attend Research & Development meetings and Production trials.
People Management
Conduct employee performance reviews & coordinate with Human Resources for appropriate staffing levels to be able to set guidelines and formats for production staff to operate and in order to have the reviews of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
Safety Health & Environment
Ensure a clean and safe work area and potential risks are communicated for corrective action in order to follow the company’s Safety, health, & Environment.
Perform, coordinate and/or collaborate in the SHE analysis and inspections
Management of the SHE documentation according to the ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 Standards (and others).
Coordination and management of the Monthly SHE meetings and annual Management review.
Quality & Food Safety Management Systems
Responsible for quality control as per the company’s & ISO 22000 standards, and others, if implemented, in order to make adjustments as necessary & reject items outside of specifications.
Management of the Food Safety documentation according to the ISO 22000 standard, and any other Food Safety Standard Implemented.
Coordination and management of the Monthly Food Safety meetings and annual Management review.
Halal.
Act as Factory “Halal Assurance System Manager”, implementing and Mentoring the HAS (Halal Assurance System) and all its requirements.
Customer Complains
Lead investigation of customer complaints, in order to take appropriate action & measure to prevent recurrence.
المهارات
Job Requirements:
Educational level: Bachelor / Master Degree in food science and technology
Specific diploma/education: Quality Management, Environmental Management and Occupational Health & Safety Management related certificates
Minimal experience: 5-10 years
Languages: English and preferably Arabic as an addition.
