Purpose of the job
Responsible for all engineering related activities and technical assistance across all factories, in order to drive low cost operations and raise the efficiency
Key Accountabilities
1. Engineering Leadership
Lead a team of technical staff & encourage them to proactively perform the assigned tasks; provide the engineering knowledge & leadership as required, in order to achieve process optimization and execute projects
2. People Management
Conduct employee performance reviews & coordinate with Human Resources for appropriate staffing levels to be able to set guidelines and formats for production staff to operate and in order to have the reviews of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
3. Health & Safety
Ensure a clean and safe work area and potential risks are communicated for corrective action in order to follow the company’s health & safety policy
4. Inventory Management
Manage spare parts inventory levels, data management systems and reduce working capital, in order to increase efficiency and availability of parts for production equipment
5. Maintenance
Review the maintenance of the factory equipments based on the agreed policies and procedures, in order to achieve a high percentage of overall equipment efficiency (OEE).
6. Internal Audit
Conduct internal audit from time to time to ensure procedures are in compliance with quality’s system in order to ensure all engineering activities are cost effective and within budget.
المهارات
• Educational level: Bachelor / Master in engineering
• Specific diploma/education: none
• Minimal relevant experience: 10+ years
• Languages: English and preferably Arabic as an addition
Candidates need to have extensive experience in the perishable food industry.
