Job Description
Purpose of the job
Carry out the mechanical and basic electrical maintenance and repair for the automatic storage and retrieval system and the location’s facilities, according to the work schedule and the procedures and work instructions, to keep the warehouse operational and up to maintenance standards.
Key Accountabilities
Daily inspection
Daily inspect, automatic unloading, conveyors, elevators and shuttles and facility equipment to be ready for operation.
Troubleshooting
Troubleshooting electromechanical issues of the daily operations of the automatic storage and retrieval system ASRS and other facility engineering equipment.
Preventive and predictive maintenance
Carry out the planned PM and PDM to ensure maximum availability of site equipment including ASRS.
Reporting
Prepare reports about the system performance, daily issues and the downtime related.
Skills
Job Requirements:
Educational level: Bachelor in mechanical/electromechanical Engineering
Minimal experience: 3 years in similar job
Languages: Arabic, English
Other requirements: physically fit
Computer literate with good MS excel proficiency
Understanding of Automation principles
Knowledge of tools and their usage related to the profession
