Purpose of the job
Operate a reach truck to transport goods and materials in & out, put away & picking goods effectively and efficiently in a safe manner, according to work instructions.
Key Accountabilities
- Driving high level Equipment (reach trucks equipments )
Operating effectively and efficiently reach truck equipments in high levels (9 meter and more)
- Picking/ Put away
To pick and put away the goods efficiently and effectively as per supervision instruction and given orders
Can work with all types of racks (Drive In & Drive through & selective…etc. ) in a safe manner
- Arranging orders/stores
Arrange all required orders in a safe manner, accurately and on the right time, rearrange the stores after the daily operation to facilitate the second day operation.
- Forklift maintenance
Execute daily maintenance on the Reach trucks, including batteries and chargers, to ensure the reach truck is in a good condition and report defects or damages to supervisor in order to get maintenance request.
- Safety
Operate the reach truck according to safety procedures and instructions.
- General assistance
Perform any additional assistance on request of the Supervisor.
Skills
Job Requirements
- Educational level: primary school
- Minimal experience: 2 years in similar job in FMCG Companies Preferred
- Languages: Arabic Or English and both is preferable
- Reach truck or forklift driving license is preferable
