Purpose of the job
Manage the depot and the location’s facilities to realize the distribution planning and delivery of the required volumes of products on the right time, with the right QTY to the right destination in line with company policies & logistics strategy and customer needs and according to agreed Service Level
Key Accountabilities
- Weekly planning
Make a weekly planning for distribution of goods and pallets at the depot /warehouse in cooperation with category planning.
- Stock control
Ensure that the inventory control process is managed and all warehousing/depot transaction (issuing &receiving & returns) done in reliable following the company policy and standard operating procedure
- Logistics & Store Operations
Ensure the availability and loading of required goods for the sales vans at the right time, according to schedule.
- Data entry/Administration & reporting
Ensure the administration of batch codes in the system
- SHEQ
Manage to keep up the standards for SHEQ, hygiene of stores and frozen/cooling facilities
- Waste Handling
Handle waste/damaged products according to procedures to ensure proper disposal and waste administration.
- Facilities management
Manage the facilities for the assigned location, according to policies and guidelines for facilities management and the local facilities plan, in order to provide facilities that enable employees to do their work properly.
- People management
Schedule manpower for the depot and ensure effective people management in line with Sadafco’s HR policies, in order to enable realization of the Depot’s goals.
Skills
Job Requirements
- Educational level: bachelor degree
- Specific diploma/education: Logistics, Technical, accounting
- Minimal experience: 5 years in Distribution Centers or regional warehousing in FMCG
- Languages: English, Arabic both are preferred
