Purpose of the job
Facilitate the execution or required tasks, by coordinating and communicating with Manufacturing, the depot supervisors, Logistics and Transport, Sales and Procurement, and follow up on problems in order to enable the distribution according to planning.
Key Accountabilities
Involve in weekly category planning and review / ensure the raw & packaging materials availability for trouble free production.
Co-ordinate and communicate with Manufacturing, Procurement, Distribution, Logistics, Certain suppliers, and follow up on constraint in order to align things as per plan.
Based on Production plan/On hand stock and On order quantities, generate weekly call-off plan and co-ordinate with TETRAPAK (the major packaging supplier) to effect daily supplies to Factory and WH (62million packs /month +additional mtrls). Also do the same planning, and follow up with outer suppliers as well.
Manage supply of Raw and Packaging materials for Dammam Factory with close co-ordination with manufacturing team-Dammam for ongoing production.
Coordinating with our Co-producers (Al-Rabie and NFIC) as Sadafco contact point for day - today operations, and manage the supply of raw & packaging materials to meet agreed monthly FG order.
Reconcile Finished Goods receipts and Raw & Packaging inventory with Al-Rabie and NFIC. Produce and share reconcile report with Finance/Manufacturing /Procurement on monthly basis.
Pay regular visit to Khumra WHs, and support / advise WH staff for better handling and arrangements from all aspects (storage / hygiene etc..).
Review and closely monitor on hand stock of R&P and raise flag to Procurement timely.
Monthly Prepare and share slow / non moving R&P list to minimize dispose off.
Advise QC Manager and Manufacturing Manager to adjust the blending ratio of major raw materials from different manufacturer (SMP, Tomato paste, Amf etc..) based on available stock.
Skills
Job Requirements
University Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least 5-10 years of related work experience in a supply chain, operations, logistics, or manufacturing environment. Experience in a Consumer, packaged good or (S) FDA regulated industry preferred.
Knowledge of overall supply chain process with in depth experience in one or more of the following: Planning, Distribution, Manufacturing, Sourcing, or New Product Project Management.
Must have strong ‘Attention to detail’ and be comfortable analyzing large volumes of data. Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding targets goals.
