Purpose of the job
To assist Trade Marketing Manager to maximize Saudia sales and profit through the management of Trade and Shopper Marketing activities.
Key Accountabilities
1) Planogram
Create merchandising guidelines and planograms to ensure presentation of Sadafco products is consistent with agreed merchandising rules and standards. Communicate merchandising best practice with merchandising teams and conduct market visits to ensure flawless execution.
2) Point of Sale
Participate in the design, ordering, distribution and placement of all point of sale materials. Monitor implementation to measure sales results and investment return.
3) Trade Promotions
Develop a trade promotional plan across key customers and channels to capitalise on seasonal sales opportunities. Manage and evaluate trade promotion levels to achieve maximum returns.
4) Consumer Promotions
Monitor competitor consumer promotion activity in Key Accounts. Measure discount and activity levels and provide promotion recommendations for Sadafco categories.
5) Distribution Initiatives
Develop, implement & evaluate Sales and Merchandising team animation and activation initiatives to optimise product distribution at depot and channel level.
Job Requirements
o Educational Level:
- minimum Bachelors degree at University level, e.g. economics or finance
- ideally further professional training or Masters level qualifications
o Experience:
- minimum 1 year relevant experience, e.g. in sales or merchandising
o Computer skills/ literacy: Microsoft Office in particular minimum intermediate level in Excel
o Languages:
- Arabic: written & spoken
- English: written & spoken
